Strada Zidului: what archaeologists found at the fortification of the Lower Town
In 2010 a gas pipeline opened the ground next to the Turnul Pielarilor; in 2012 the rehabilitation of the street continued the investigation. The excavations documented the enclosure wall of the Lower Town and the marshy ground around the tower. About the tower, however, they say less than has been written since.
