Beneath Huet Square lies one of the most unusual buildings of medieval Sibiu: a rotunda. To some, the chapel of a lord, perhaps of Hermann; to others, a cemetery chapel. And no lordly residence has been found.

In 2010 a gas pipeline opened the ground next to the Turnul Pielarilor; in 2012 the rehabilitation of the street continued the investigation. The excavations documented the enclosure wall of the Lower Town and the marshy ground around the tower. About the tower, however, they say less than has been written since.
